South China Morning Post July 9, 2022 The PGA Tour is robbing fans by preventing LIV Golf participants from playing in PGA Tour events, according to a lawsuit filed in Palm Beach County. The civil lawsuit, filed on behalf of Larry Klayman and against the PGA Tour and its partner, DP World Tour [European Tour], is seeking class-action status and says suspending golfers who play in the LIV tournaments deprives PGA golf fans of seeing some of the best golfers in the world and is “anti-competitive behaviour” in a free-market economy. By Joseph De Avila WSJ July 8, 2022 A federal appeals court threw out a $95 million defamation lawsuit filed by former Alabama Supreme Court Chief Justice Roy Moore against comedian Sacha Baron Cohen. Mr. Moore filed the lawsuit after appearing on Mr. Cohen’s television show “Who Is America?”, a political satire in which the comedian played a variety of roles. By Bob Unruh WND July 5, 2022 A lawsuit requesting class-action status has been filed in state court in Florida challenging the “monopolization” of professional golf by its corporations, the PGA Tour and its partner DP World Tour. The action, filed in the 15th Judicial Circuit for Palm Beach County, is on behalf of lawyer Larry Klayman, who is representing himself. Klayman founded the government-watchdog group Judicial Watch, then ran for U.S. Senate and, more recently, heads FreedomWatch USA.
