The controversial State Representative Ilhan Omar has a somewhat troubled past, and now that she is in the spotlight, some of it is coming back to haunt her. According to numerous reports, Omar has been arrested and has faced various accusations of corruption during her short time in politics. An Altercation With Police
A police report uncovered by Christine Bauman of Alpha News last year showed that Omar was arrested in 2013. The congresswoman was arrested for causing a disturbance near the Minneapolis Convention Center when former Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mohamed gave a speech there.
