Roger Stone told an energetic audience Sunday at a Mt. Juliet church that “God spared my life for a purpose.”
The polarizing political operative has come forward about his recent re-commitment to Christianity after Stone describes himself falling away from the faith. Stone was invited to speak at Global Vision Bible Church by Pastor Greg Locke.
“I’ve spoken in political meetings, union halls, topless clubs, houses of ill-repute,” Stone said. “This is the first time I’ve spoken at a church and I’ve got to tell you it felt good, it felt great. It might be my first, but it most definitely (will) not be my last.”
