In my autobiography, “Why and How I Came to Fight the Establishment,” I chronicle my life’s story and rise to becoming the founder of both Judicial Watch and Freedom Watch. And, while I am presently the chairman and general counsel of Freedom Watch, my history in the legal profession — fighting in the trenches against the intellectual and actual establishment corruption among judges, lawyers, government personnel, and media — is what caused me to conceive of and start my former organization on July 29, 1994.
Freedom Watch, in my opinion, now does what I conceived of Judicial Watch to do. Rather than mostly just obtaining documents under the Freedom of Information Act, we are the leader in taking on hard complex cases against all odds. In many ways, we are the group that persons turn to when no one else has the guts and perseverance to stick his or her neck out, and risk all, in fighting establishment tyranny.
